Openings as of April 2016:

The VNCOC is looking for multiple Vietnamese-speaking candidates for the following positions:

ADMINISTRATION/MANGEMENT

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business Administration with knowledge of health and human services. Master’s Level and/or Certified Public Accountant preferred. (Part-time/20 hrs. – Contractor)
  • Responsible for overall planning, development, and management of the fiscal and operational needs of the agency.
  • Financial management of nonprofit organizations is highly desired.
  • Bilingual Vietnamese highly desired.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Behavioral Health Program Manager with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, mental health or related field. Master’s level highly preferred. Experience within the mental health field is highly desired. (Full-time/40 hrs.)
  • Train, coach, evaluate, and discipline all supervised employees.
  • Develop and revise all necessary policies and procedures for the program to ensure contractual compliance as well as agency standards. Perform program audits to ensure adherence to processes.
  • Lead the program to ensure that all deadlines/milestones are met in accordance with the implemented timeframe.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with reliable transportation and proof of car insurance. Ability to do some travel for meetings, conferences, and trainings.
  • Occasional weekend hours as needed and ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese.
Program Outreach Specialist/Coordinator with excellent networking and social skills to promote the agency’s behavioral health program. (Full-time/40 hrs.)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with community organizations and county services to establish continuity of care and needed referrals for medical and behavioral health clients.
  • Outreach behavioral health program to local community organizations, community health fairs, bi-weekly radio talk show, TV appearances, etc.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with reliable transportation and proof of car insurance.
  • Occasional weekend hours as needed and ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese
Personal Services Coordinator (PSC) with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in mental health or related field and at least 2-3 years of experience in mental health case management. (Full-time/30 hrs.)
  • Provide comprehensive mental health treatment services that include intake evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and utilize psychiatric consultation, as needed.
  • Work with SED/SMI children and transitional youth and their families to develop individualized service plans with specific goals and objectives including wrap-around services.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary team of care including peers, consumers, and families.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with reliable transportation and proof of car insurance.
  • Occasional weekend, evening, and on-call hours as needed (ability to work flexible schedule).
  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese.

MEDICAL

Primary Care Provider Board Certified Physician in CA with current unrestricted DEA license and BLS/ACLS (Part-time to Full-time/20 hrs. to 40 hrs.)
  • Must have completed Family Medicine Residency or Internal Medicine Residency.
  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese
Medical Assistant with Certification from Medical Assisting Program and at least two (2) years of experience in a community clinic setting. (Full-time/40 hrs.)
  • Support primary care provider by obtaining vital signs, obtaining accurate information and appropriate assistance to patients, visitors and medical team.
  • Complies with medical center’s policies and procedures along with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure that all exam rooms are stocked and sanitized.
  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese and/or Spanish.

DENTAL

Dental Assitant with a Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program and license to operate dental x-ray equipment (Part-time to Full-time/20 hrs. to 40 hrs.)
  • Work alongside staff dentist to perform basic supportive dental procedures.
  • Adheres to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures, manages supply inventory and organizes and maintains lab equipment.
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment areas along with proper sanitation of dental equipment and instruments.

PATIENT SUPPORT

Front Desk Specialist with at least two (2) years of medical receptionist/customer service experience. (Full-time/40 hrs.)
  • Provide excellent customer service to the patients of the medical center.
  • Answer preliminary non-medical questions related but not limited to internal agency-wide resources and social services agencies.
  • Schedules patient appointments and explains clinic policies to patients.
  • Data entry into various medical/dental software systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese.
